Cancellation/Makeup Policy
Let’s face it, we all have busy lives. Things happen. If you need to cancel your lesson you MUST reschedule a lesson online 6 hours previous to your currently scheduled lesson. If the student fails to book a makeup lesson at least 6 hours previous to their currently scheduled lesson, the payment for that lesson will be forfeited. A lesson can only be rescheduled once, and if the student doesn’t come to their makeup lesson, it will be forfeited. The reason for this makeup policy is that the only way a student will improve is with consistency. In order to learn the instrument that is being paid for, the lessons must be consistent in order to achieve consistent progress.

Payment
When a payment is due, it must be received at the final lesson according to the lesson card. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, personal check, money order, Venmo, and credit card. A lesson card can be purchased in the amount of 5, 10, or 20 lessons. Each week the lesson card is punched. When the lesson card is used up, the student may purchase a new lesson card.

Punctuality
The student must be on time. If a student is more than twenty minutes late for their lesson, they will lose their lesson for that day. The lesson will end at the scheduled time regardless of the student being late, unless the teacher chooses to stay late. This is often difficult as I schedule lessons back- to back.

Practice Time
The recommended amount of practice time is 20-60 minutes every day. Practice may not make perfect, but it does make progress.
